JA TRAVEL THAILAND CHIANG MAI

Mario Kart Square
The Old City of Chiang Mai is a large, almost perfect square that reminded me of the video game Mario Kart. It seriously feels like riding a race track. I would put my headphones on, blasting ACCA DACCA or some techno, and race around the square on my motorbike as fast as possible. No tickets or accidents, so all good! I must have circled it at least 100 times. Only in Thailand!

I would often race against the clock, trying to see how fast I could complete a lap. I also enjoyed racing against other people who were also riding around the square. OK, maybe they didn't know they were in a race, but still, so much fun!

Road Trip to Ban Dong
I took a motorbike ride to a mountain resort about 40 minutes west of Chiang Mai's Old City, in the Hang Dong district. I had to swim in the giant pool and breathe in the fresh mountain air! It was so refreshing and invigorating. I felt like I had added a few years to my life.

The resort was located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and forests. The pool was huge and sparkling clean, and the water was the perfect temperature. I spent hours swimming, sunbathing, and reading. I also took a few walks around the resort, enjoying the scenery and the fresh air.

I had a wonderful time at the resort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back again!
