JA VAN LIFE ARIZONA MARICOPA PARKS

 6  Arizona Maricopa Parks

I have spent a lot of time in Maricopa Parks in the winter. My favorites are Usery Mountain and Cave Creek. They have very nice, spaced-out camping and RV spots with shower facilities. They are just outside the Phoenix area, so TV channels can be picked up on the antenna and T-Mobile has screaming fast internet. They are also located in the beautiful desert landscape. The campgrounds have excellent shower facilities as well! The reservation system at www.maricopacountyparks.net is very easy to use. I would just go to their website and if spaces were full at one park, I would just switch to another. Grocery stores were 5-10 minutes away, so it felt like I was out camping but still had city resources close by.
