JA TRAVEL THAILAND PHUKET

Destination #1

Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, is a tropical paradise with something to offer everyone. The island is home to stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and ancient temples. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including swimming, sunbathing, hiking, and diving. Phuket is also a great place to experience Thai culture, with its many temples, markets, and restaurants.

The name Phuket is derived from the Malay word bukit, meaning hill. The island was previously named Junk Ceylon on European charts, a corruption of the Malay Tanjung Salang meaning Cape Salang.

Phuket is a popular tourist destination, and there are many hotels, resorts, and restaurants to choose from. The island is also well-connected by air and sea, making it easy to get to and from.

If I ever win the lottery, Phuket is where I'm headed to buy my dream home. With its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and ancient temples, Phuket is a tropical paradise that has something to offer to everyone. Riding a motorbike along the coast, and enjoying delicious Thai food and fresh coconut shakes is so much fun. Get tired of one beach there are 43 more to choose from! The south is the most beautiful part of Thailand.

Fish Fry

The whole fried fish with garlic that they make in Thailand is simply to die for. I must have had one almost every night after I found it. It was so good that I didn't care if they used recycled grease from China (if they did) or if they dropped it on the floor before frying, I would still eat that delicious fish. The crispy outside and tender fillets inside were simply irresistible.

If you're ever in Thailand, be sure to try this dish. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Thai Elephant Rides

My brother Dustin and I had the pleasure of riding an elephant up a mountain in Phuket, Thailand. The view of the Andaman Sea from the top was simply breathtaking. I am not sure where else in the world one can have such an unforgettable experience. Elephants are majestic creatures, and it was an honor to interact with them in such a close way. This activity may be bad for the elephant, but to me, it felt like we were just taking it for a walk or exercise. It never gave any impression that it was in pain or uncomfortable.

Dusky Leaf Monkeys

I am interested in purchasing a property in Phuket to establish a Dusky Leaf Monkey sanctuary on the grounds. I believe that this would be a valuable addition to the community, as it would provide a safe and healthy habitat for these endangered animals, as well as an educational opportunity for visitors. A guy can dream.

Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach is a beautiful, natural beach. However, it has since been commercialized and now resembles a strip mall. Visitors are now charged a fee to enter the beach, and the natural beauty of the area has businesses now. Here is a video that shows what the beach used to look like before it was monetized.
