JA VAN LIFE FLORIDA STATE

4  Florida State * AVOID Hurricane Season! *

Florida is a great van life destination for a number of reasons. The weather is warm and sunny year-round, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, and there are many different places to explore. No matter what you are looking for in a van life destination, Florida has something to offer. With its warm weather, beautiful scenery, and endless activities, Florida is the perfect place to explore the world from the comfort of your own van. Just AVOID Hurricane Season! Also, be respectful of the environment: Florida is a beautiful state with a fragile ecosystem. Be sure to leave no trace when you are camping or hiking. I stayed at many places across the state, my top place to stay would be Fort De Soto, it was a very chill place with great fishing, and 10 minutes away from shopping so it was outdoor camping with city resources close by.

Fort De Soto Park Campground

3500 Pinellas Bayway South, Tierra Verde, Florida 33715

One of my favorite state parks in Florida for RV camping. Good for fishing, inland waterways, and off the piers. Also good for Kayaking and trails for running and mountain biking. Many RV spots are right on the water. A 10-minute drive and you are shopping. Tons of cool birds, raccoons, and fish were sighted.

238-site, waterfront campground with RV hookups, showers, grills & picnic tables, plus a camp store.
